Welcome to Curtin Nepalese Society

Curtin Nepalese Society is a vibrant community of Nepali students studying at Curtin University. We are the official representative Nepali society at Curtin, organizing various events, assisting students with academics, and providing support in many aspects of student life. We aim to create a home away from home for Nepali students, fostering connections and a sense of belonging in this abroad land.

Our Objectives:

  • Cultural Promotion and Celebration: To celebrate and promote Nepali culture, traditions, and festivals, creating a sense of home and belonging for Nepali students at Curtin University.
  • Academic Support: To provide academic assistance and resources to Nepali students, helping them excel in their studies through study groups, tutoring sessions, and workshops.
  • Community Building: To foster a strong sense of community among Nepali students, encouraging networking, friendships, and mutual support through social events, gatherings, and activities.
  • Personal and Professional Development: To enhance the personal and professional growth of members by organizing workshops, seminars, and mentoring programs that focus on skill development, career guidance, and leadership.
  • Student Advocacy and Support: To act as a voice for Nepali students at Curtin University, addressing their concerns and needs, and providing support for their well-being, including assistance with housing, health services, and adapting to life in Australia.
